Legal & Compliance
No. Lawie is a drafting assistant. You are responsible for legal accuracy, and for reviewing and finalising every document before it is used or filed.
Your drafts and briefs are encrypted in our database, and connections to Lawie use HTTPS. Your form answers and the list of facts Lawie builds from your matter are not yet encrypted in the same way. We do not currently keep backups, so download and keep your own copy of every document you need. Lawie uses your case details only to create your drafts. The Privacy Policy lists what we store, where, and who else receives it.
Every document is a first draft generated with AI and must be reviewed by the filing advocate before use. Lawie does not certify any document as court-approved or legally valid.
Templates follow Lawie's court rules for the courts in its list. Lawie is a drafting assistant: the filing advocate is responsible for reviewing each generated draft before use.
Technical
No. Lawie runs entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to download or install.
We have not tested Lawie on phones yet. For now, please use a laptop or desktop browser.
